We’re super excited to have Terri Kalfas of Grace Publishing and Jomago House as the speaker for our August meeting. She’ll be speaking on Crafting Bible Studies for Spiritual Growth. Terri says “You don’t need a doctorate in theology to write a Bible study, but you do need to know certain things about putting it together. We’ll look at what you need to know about the changing market and how today’s cultural influences impact your audience—how the participant has changed and how that has changed Bible study itself. We’ll also discuss such things as the various types of studies, specific differences in curriculum and Bible study guides, how to craft good questions, and most important, Jesus’ pattern for teaching.” This promises to be a great session you won’t want to miss!
