Come join us as Karen Iverson leads us in looking at how our spiritual lives can impact our writing lives. She will give us a glimpse into her journey to be donned a “Difference Maker” and will ask us to consider the impact Jesus has made in our writing and speaking journeys just as it has impacted hers. She will challenge us to consider how we use prayer and scripture in the writing process. This will include working through the “anxiety of the blank page” and facing the “good enoughs” of the written word, the self, and the stage. She will help us learn to become overcomers in Life, Writing, and Speaking.
Karen Iverson is a writer, speaker, educator, and counselor. In 2019, Karen published the first book in her breast cancer series and she will soon be launching the first book in her upcoming series on mental health.
