It’s time once again for our Annual Night of Sharing! Every April we continue a tradition begun in September 2000. Yes, the month has changed, but the purpose has not. We share pieces we’ve written so that we can get to know one another better as friends and writers. We keep our readings to five minutes each and usually have time for 10 readings. This year Chery Emmer will emcee our program. If you’d like to read something you’ve written, request Chery’s contact info using the contact form on the homepage. Then send your name and the title of your piece to Chery by April 7 so she can prepare a program for our Night of Sharing on the 11th. Don’t miss this special meeting. Be part of the tradition!
Chery Emmer has been a member of FCW for over ten years and has served in a variety of capacities. She writes poetry, stories about her family, and is our resident songwriter and songstress. She always adds a touch of humor to our gatherings. We all love Chery and appreciate her willingness to emcee this year’s Night of Sharing. Thanks, Chery!
