April Meeting: Night of Sharing

April 9 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

It’s time once again for our Annual Night of Sharing! Every April we continue a tradition begun in September 2000. Yes, the month has changed, but the purpose has not. We share pieces we’ve written so that we can get to know one another better as friends and writers. We keep our readings to five minutes each and usually have time for 10 readings. This year Laura Drumb will emcee our program. If you’d like to read something you’ve written, contact Laura or contact us through the email below to request her contact info. Send your name and the title of your piece to Laura by April 5 so she can prepare a program for our Night of Sharing on the 9th. Don’t miss this special meeting. Be part of the tradition!

Laura L. Drumb is an author of Christian historical fiction and has been a member of FCW for many years, serving in various capacities during that time. She is passionate about history as well as sharing her faith in Christ. Her debut novel, From Now Until Forever, is set in 1853 Indian Territory and is about the Kiowa people. The sequel, Together We Stand Forever, will be released next month.

Laura resides in the Tulsa area with her husband of almost 52 years and their beloved poodle Rudy. Nothing brings her greater joy, however, than spending time with their two daughters and their families, especially her seven amazing grandchildren, ranging in age from 13 to 19. Join her on the adventure of discovering that truly, History Matters!

You can connect with Laura at lauraldrumb.com for her website, History Matters; on Facebook (Laura Drumb); or e-mail her at AuthorLauraLDrumb@gmail.com to purchase autographed copies of her books (also available on Amazon in paperback or Kindle).
