August Meeting: Janice Buswell | Handle with Care: Growing from Constructive Criticism

As creatives, our work is often evaluated from many angles. In this talk, Janice shares keys to help you sort through the feedback you’ll receive from beta readers and editors, while showing you how to leverage that feedback to strengthen your story’s uniqueness.

Jance Buswell is a multi-talented communicator, speaker, Paradoxon series novelist, and author of Grace for the Writer’s Journey and the Radical Simplicity and A Good Word  blogs.

From a young age, Janice read everything she could get her hands on, and when she wasn’t reading, she imagined stories taking place all around her.

Now, Janice’s love of stories includes the stories God is weaving in the lives of everyone she meets. She loves leveraging both fiction and nonfiction to help God’s people understand their own lives and stories better.

When Janice isn’t writing, she enjoys spending time with emerging authors in one-on-one coaching and through her role as co-founder of Experience Writing and director of their yearly conference. Few things make her happier than seeing writers of all ages unleashed to tell the stories only they can!
