Come join us for our November meeting as our own Jon Hopkins speaks to us on Writing Short Narrative Nonfiction for Anthologies and Magazines. Jon says, “Not every writer has the desire and patience to write a novel. Perhaps writing short stories might be for you. Short narrative non-fiction stories are in demand by magazines, newspapers, blogs, and anthologies, and many of these publications pay authors for this.”
So how do we go about writing a short story that a publication or website will accept? Since Jon has published over twenty-five stories for magazines and five in anthologies, including Gary Chapman’s book Love is a Verb, his presentation is sure to show us how to write a successful short story. Join us for this program packed with important tips!
