SUMMARY:February Meeting: Rachel E. Bradley | How to Write in Deep Point of View
DESCRIPTION:Come join us at our February meeting when professional editor Rachel Bradley will present a sure-to-be enlightening session full of instruction on How to Write in Deep Point of View. Rachel says\, “Many authors want their readers to experience their stories as if their readers were living them instead of reading them. The best way to achieve this effect is to write in deep point of view. In this session\, you’ll learn how deep point of view is unique\, what its limitations are\, and how to achieve it. If time allows\, you’ll also practice writing in deep point of view with a short\, hands-on exercise.” Even our nonfiction writers will learn things that will help them write personal experience pieces\, narrative nonfiction\, anecdotes for their articles and books\, and memoir\, etc. \nRachel E. Bradley owns Revisions by Rachel Inc. and offers professional editing and indexing services. She is a gold member of the Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network; is an established freelance editor with the Christian Editor Connection; is an instructor with the PEN Institute; is a judge for the Editors’ Choice Award; has served as faculty for PENCON\, the only conference for editors in the Christian market; and serves as NAIWE’s copyediting expert. In 2018\, she lost her first husband to cancer and now edits with a fierce compassion for people who feel broken and hurt. In celebration of continued life and hope\, she became a licensed skydiver and takes to the skies with her rainbow canopy\, “Promises\,” any chance she gets. In early 2021\, she asked God to choose her next husband. In an incredible tale of trusting God and giving him her yes without exception\, she is now joyfully married to Alexander Bradley. They have been assigned the awe-inspiring and continually humbling task of raising two incredible children. Find out more about Rachel on her website \nDon’t miss this fantastic time of teaching and fellowship. Can’t wait to see you there! \n\nLocation:   Kirk of the Hills | 4102 E 61st St\, Tulsa\, OK 74136 \n\n
